A real taste of Fall to end workweek; cool Halloween forecast

ORLANDO, Fla. — Thursday brought temperatures about 10 degrees above average, highs reached the low 90s across many parts of Central Florida.

A cold front will arrive late tonight. First, a few scattered showers and some isolated downpours will affect, from west to east, parts of Central Florida.

The line of storms associated with the cold front will be along coastal counties by 4 a.m. Friday.

By sunrise, clouds should be clearing Central Florida and the winds will be from the north.

Highs on Friday will struggle to reach 80 degrees, much of our area staying in the mid-70s.

Humidity will be much lower, making the temperatures feel very comfortable.

HALLOWEEN FORECAST

The forecast does not look too scary for Central Florida on Saturday. By sunrise on Saturday, temperatures across Metro areas in the low 60s, rural areas could experience temps in the upper-50s.

The weekend will be sandwiched between two fronts. Expect the winds to shift, and be from the east on Saturday. This shift will moderate the temperatures, highs will reach the mid-80s.

A few clouds and light showers could fall over the coastal counties of Brevard and Volusia on Saturday.

Temperatures by 6 p.m. on Saturday will be in the mid to upper-70s, with humidity at a comfortable level still.

Expect Sunday morning to be slightly warmer with lows in the morning in the upper-60s and highs reaching the mid-80s. Humidity will be slightly higher.

A STRONGER COLD FRONT

The next front arrives Monday morning. The winds will be stronger on Monday, plenty of sunshine and highs struggling to reach the low 70s.
