Reinforcing cold front moves over Central Florida early Tuesday

An extra shot of clod air will continue to bring cold mornings across Central Florida this week.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Below-average temperatures will continue across Central Florida. Another front, passing over Central Florida early on Tuesday, will reinforce the cold air mass and warranty cold mornings the rest of the week, and below-average highs through Wednesday.

  • Monday afternoon stayed partly cloudy with highs in the low 70s across much of Central Florida. Expect low temperatures tonight to fall into the mid-50s for Metro Orlando and slightly colder across rural areas.
  • The seas will continue to be rough along our local eastern beaches. High surf and flooding advisories will be in effect until at least 3 a.m. Tuesday and we will continue to have a high risk of rip currents. See local weather forecast below.
  • We are expecting the next cold front to swing by on Saturday.
