Cooler temperatures to start, mostly sunny afternoon ahead

ORLANDO, Fla. — Monday will be mostly sunny in Central Florida.

Here’s what to expect for the day:

• Morning temperatures will be slightly cooler than usual.
• Some areas will start out in the 60s.
• It will be mostly sunny throughout the day, with a few clouds.
• There’s a stray chance of a shower this week, at 10%.
• Temperatures will reach the 90s.

In the tropics, Sam strengthened into a a Category 4 hurricane.
