ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Officials with the Orlando International Airport announced Monday afternoon that limited commercial service will resume Tuesday, but that passengers should contact their airline before arriving at the airport.
The airport has been closed since Saturday evening because of Hurricane Irma.

The hurricane rolled into Central Florida Sunday night into Monday morning and brought gusty winds, downed trees, flooding and other debris.
Airport officials tweeted Monday morning that gusty winds have delayed crews from assessing damage at the airport.
Officials with Orlando Melbourne International Airport announced it will reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
The Orlando Sanford International Airport will open at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday. Passengers should check with their airline for updates on flights because no commerical passenger flights are operating Tuesday.
Daytona Beach International Airport will reopen at 4 a.m. Wednesday. Travelers should check with the airlines regarding their flights.
