Irma: Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex to remain closed Wednesday

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will remain closed through at least Wednesday because Hurricane Irma knocked out the facility's water service.

The facility had no major damage from the storm, a spokesman said.

The attraction, which has been closed since Friday, will provide daily updates about its reopening.

Visitors aren't allowed on KSC property at this time, the spokesman said.

Non-essential employees who are scheduled to work Wednesday are asked to stay home.

Employees may call 321-449-0969 for information about work schedules.
