First day of fall forecast: Mainly dry this morning, pop-up storms to move in later

ORLANDO, Fla. — Wednesday marks the first day of fall.

Here’s what to expect for the day:

  • It will be mainly dry across Central Florida this morning.
  • There’s a 50% chance of rain.
  • Scattered storms will pop up in some spots around 1 p.m.
  • Some areas could get up to an inch of rain.
  • Temperatures will be warmer today, with highs in the 90s.
