Isolated coastal showers overnight; downpours increase in coverage Tuesday in Central Florida

Scattered downpours and isolated storms streamed from the southeast across Central Florida on Monday, but overall conditions remained mostly stable. Expect a few coastal and marine showers overnight. Highs across much of Central Florida stay in the upper 80s with a few locations, like Sanford reaching 92. Evening temps will drop to the upper 70s with partly cloudy conditions inland.

On Tuesday, more instability will arrive across Central Florida, expect numerous downpours and isolated storms.

Storms will not be particularly strong, but there will be lightning across Central Florida and some downpours could cause minor flooding if downpours become persistent over the same area. Highs on Tuesday will be around average for the time of the year, in the low 90s.
