Partly cloudy and breezy Friday as Nicole moves away from Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. — Central Florida will be warm and windy Friday as the state continues to dry out after Hurricane Nicole made landfall yesterday.

As of Friday morning, what’s left of Nicole is in North Georgia and the Carolinas.

The storm system will then get tied into a front.

Some of Nicole’s leftover rain bands are moving through Friday morning in a few spots.

Seas will stay rough on Florida’s east coast as residents are still assessing the worst damage from Nicole.

Overall in our area, Friday will be breezy, with a mix of sun and clouds and a 30% chance of showers.

The high temperature in Orlando should reach around 83 degrees.

The forecast is looking great for the weekend.

High temperatures should be in the 80s on Saturday and 70s on Sunday.
