Record heat: Temperatures climb in Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. — Tuesday will be the hottest day of the year so far.

Temperatures will climb into the mid-90s. Orlando’s daytime high is 95.

A few isolated storms will likely move through the area this afternoon.

Looking ahead, the heat will stick around for a few more days.

Wednesday’s weather will be similar to Tuesday’s.
