Spotty showers, storms to move through Central Florida this afternoon

ORLANDO, Fla. — Spotty showers and storms will move through Central Florida this afternoon.

Temperatures will stay in the low 90s. Heat indices will be in the upper 90s.

Most areas will stay dry but there is a chance for a storm to pass through. There is a 30% chance of rain.

Low temperatures will also stay warm, in the mid-70s area-wide under partly cloudy skies.

Muggy and humid temperatures will stay for the rest of the week.

Rain chance increases on Friday, and the winds will remain form the southwest, providing plenty of heat for Central Florida.

In the tropics, the center of Hurricane Delta is located over the Gulf of Mexico. The storm will head to Louisiana/Mississippi Friday. It poses no threat to Central Florida.
