A few more clouds to end the week; warm, a tad humid weekend

ORLANDO, Fla. — We are done with the sweaters and jackets, at least for the next afternoons.

Friday's high temperatures reached 77 degrees in Orlando, 75 in Daytona Beach and 77 in Melbourne.

The temperatures are warming up just in time for the weekend and these temperatures are a preview of what we can expect this upcoming weekend across Central Florida.

Expect the temperatures to drop to the low to mid-50s across Metro areas, and in the upper 40s in the suburbs overnight. A bit chilly in the morning for some, but they will quickly warm after sunrise.

We'll have mostly cloudy skies with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Isolated showers possible, especially near the coast by Sunday.

The next cold front is forecast to cross Central Florida by Wednesday. We are not forecasting a big drop in temperatures, but it will drop the humidity, which will make the temperatures feel much nicer. Highs back to average normals for this time of the year for Wednesday.
