BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Fire rescue crews in Brevard County responded Wednesday night to a bad crash on Interstate 95.

First responders said the crash happened around 11 p.m. on southbound I-95 near mile marker 196.

Officials said several crews and FHP troopers responded for the crash with reported injuries.

One person had to be removed from the wreckage and was taken by helicopter to a hospital for treatment.
Several lanes of the interstate were also closed as crews worked to stop and clean up an active diesel fuel leak.

Florida troopers are investigating the cause of the crash.
