Accident causes slowdowns on I-95 at LPGA

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — An accident closed the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 at LPGA Boulevard for a short time Wednesday evening.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers directed traffic off at the LPGA exit and right back onto the interstate.

Shortly before 9 p.m. some lanes had reopened but emergency vehicles were still on the scene and traffic was moving slowly by.

By 10:30 the roadway was clear, and traffic was moving normally.
