ORANGE CITY, Fla. — Police said five people were injured when they were hit by a car in the parking lot of a Walmart in Orange City.
The incident happened at the Walmart on Veterans Memorial Parkway shortly after 2:00 p.m.
Witnesses said a driver lost control of their vehicle in the parking lot and side-swiped another car before hitting the pedestrians.
Five people suffered minor injuries and had to be taken to the hospital, officials said. The driver was also transported with minor injuries.
Police said the driver is an elderly male who may have had a medical issue. Orange City police continue to investigate the incident.
