Gunman remains at large after shooting, injuring tourist outside Orlando hotel

A gunman remains at large after shooting a tourist Friday night during an attempted armed robbery outside a La Quinta Inn on Major Boulevard, Orlando police said.
Police said the victim was shot in the arm and hip. The gunman also shot at another person, but missed.
"I never expected it'd be this close to me," an unnamed hotel guest said.               "I hear, 'Boom, boom, boom, boom!' (and) I said, 'Oh, a gunshot!'"
The gunman escaped before police arrived.
Information on whether surveillance cameras caught the shooting has not been released.
Witnesses were only able to give a vague description of the gunman, saying he was an
African-American man in his 30s, wearing a blue shirt with white writing, police said.
The injured man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
