12-foot gator found on Florida beach near Yacht Club

A 12-foot alligator was found on a beach in Indian River County.
Local newspapers report the gator was spotted Sunday night near the Mooring Yacht and Country Club on Vero Beach.
Trapper Justin Morrison said the alligator appeared worn out from trying to get past the waves. Morrison said he tied up the gator's limbs and covered its eyes.
Morrison said Florida rivers are filled with alligators, but it's rare to find one on a beach.
The Indian River County Sheriff's Office said the alligator will be relocated.
