LAKELAND, Fla. — Two people died in a fire in a mobile home in Lakeland, officials said.
A motorist saw the flames and called 911 early Wednesday morning on Old Polk City Road.
Polk County deputies said when they arrived, the home was fully engulfed. Polk County Fire Rescue discovered two bodies inside the home after the flames were extinguished.
The names of the victims have not been released.
The State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
