SANFORD, Fla. - Two men remained at large early Monday after leading police on a chase, the Sanford Police Department said.

An officer tried to stop a Nissan car on South Orlando Drive, but the driver fled, police said.

Police said they deployed stop sticks, which flattened the car's tires, but the driver continued driving toward oncoming traffic and onto State Road 417.
