2 teens arrested in attack on 83-year-old man

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. — Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with an attack on an 83-year-old man and the theft of his car.

Police say a 13-year-old boy turned himself in to Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies late Wednesday. He's charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle and is being held in the Pinellas County juvenile assessment center.

According to police, a 16-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday and they're looking for a 15-year-old girl.

Authorities say Charles Clark was beaten and stabbed in the arm during an attack on Tuesday in the parking lot of his apartment complex. They say the teens took off with Clark's keys and returned later to steal his car.

Police say the 13-year-old admitted to taking part in the car theft but says he didn't beat the victim.
