Alligator doesn't wait for traffic, traffic waits for gator

LAKELAND, Fla. — An alligator wasn’t playing around Tuesday night when it darted into traffic in Lakeland.

Sherese Walker, from Lakeland, captured the gator scurrying across Sleepy Hill Road in Lakeland.

The gator crawled into the median, then turned around and bolted into oncoming traffic. Drivers saw what was happening and stopped for the reptile.

The alligator eventually went back to a woody area.

If any one walks on sleepy hill be careful.
