PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — A missing 2-year-old Florida boy and his father were found at an Orlando Dollar General store Tuesday night, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued an Amber Alert for Bane Wheeler, 2, who had last been seen on the 900 block of US Highway 19 in Port Richey.
Investigators said the boy's father, Daniel Wheeler, took the toddler from his daycare at about 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Deputies were looking into the circumstances that led to Daniel Wheeler allegedly taking the child and had not determined if a crime was committed.
The two were found at the Dollar General in the 5900 block of Edgewater Drive.
