Armed men held up father of 3 in Marion Co. apartment

MARION COUNTY, Fla. — Two men who broke into a Marion County apartment and held up a father of three remain at large Wednesday, authorities said.
John Donaldson told investigators he was watching his three children and heard a knock at his door. Donaldson said when he answered, two men barged in with guns.

Neighbors said Donaldson fought with the men, until they made a dangerous threat.

"He told me that two guys entered his apartment and kicked his door in. They both had handguns and told him that if he moved when he got down on the floor, they were going to kill him," said neighbor Dawn Vaney.

Police said they have a vague description of the suspects.
