ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. — Officers investigated a crash Sunday morning in which an adult and a child were critically injured, the Altamonte Springs Police Department said.
The crash happened at State Road 436 and Douglas Avenue, Altamonte Springs police Lt. Rob Pelton said.
Westbound lanes of SR 436 were closed as officers investigated the crash.
The two people injured were hospitalized, Pelton said.
More than 150,000 people are expected to visit nearby Cranes Roost Park Sunday for its 21st annual Red, Hot & Boom celebration.
No other information was released.
