FDOT delays work on Fairbanks curve because of cooler weather

ORLANDO, Fla. — Work to put a temporary fix on the Fairbanks curve on Interstate 4 is on hold because of cooler temperatures.

Crews were supposed to start re-paving the asphalt Sunday after the project was delayed, but they said it's too cold outside to continue.

The temperature must stay above 65 degrees for the asphalt to stick to the road.

Florida Department of Transportation officials haven't said when they'll try again.
