Credit card skimmer discovered on Ormond Beach ATM

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. — Residents in Volusia County are being warned to check their bank accounts, because of suspicious activity at a Publix ATM in Ormond Beach.

Investigators said a thief installed a skimmer to steal card numbers and pin numbers at the Publix off Roscommon Drive Sunday.

Deputies are trying to figure out if the thief is responsible for a similar incident at a Daytona Beach Publix in September.
