Deltona man accused of selling fake Disney tickets, deputies say

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — A Deltona man is accused of selling $1,000 worth of fake Disney tickets, detectives with the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said.

A woman told detectives she bought the tickets from Branden Bullerin, 19, and didn’t realize they were fake until she went to Disney to use them.

The 28-year-old Tampa woman responded to Bullerin’s ad on Craigslist, deputies said. Bullerin told the woman he was able to get such a good deal on the tickets because he said he worked for Disney, investigators said.

Bullerin's grandmother told Eyewitness News that he never worked for Disney and that she felt sorry for the victims.

Investigators told Channel 9's Mike Springer that Bullerin was busted in Orange County in January for selling five fraudulent park hopper passes for $400.

Bullerin pleaded no contest to grand theft and was sentenced to six months in jail and ordered to pay $400 in restitution.

Bullerin is facing grand theft and fraud charges.
