ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Two people were shot Saturday evening near the Central Florida Fairgrounds, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said.
The shooting was reported at about 10:45 p.m. at West Colonial Drive and Delhi Street, deputies said.
Investigators said the two male juveniles were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies were in the area helping Orlando police officers break up a fight at the fairgrounds when they were notified of the shooting, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Witnesses told detectives that the gunman took off in a dark-colored vehicle.
The shooting continues to be investigated.
