ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Intruders fired shots in an apartment late Thursday, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.
The shooting was reported shortly after 10:30 p.m. at the Grandview Pointe Apartments on Americana Boulevard east of South Texas Avenue, deputies said.
Investigators said two women in their early 20s said they were visiting a friend when two men knocked on the door and forced their way into the home.
The intruders then fired gunshots, but no one was injured, deputies said.
The gunmen fled the scene and they remain at large.
The shooting remains under investigation.
No other details were given.
