Deputies investigate Pine Hills shooting

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orange County deputies said they are investigating a shooting in Pine Hills that left three  people injured, but the victims aren’t talking about what happened.

About a dozen evidence markers were still on the ground near Pine Hills Road and North Lane on Monday night, nearly four hours after Orlando police and Orange County deputies rushed to the scene.

The 911 call came from one of the victims.

Deputies said after someone shot up a car, three men inside the car ran to a nearby Walgreens for help.

The crime scene shut down part of Pine Hills Road and the Walgreens parking lot.

One of the victims refused treatment even though he was hit by two bullets, one in the leg and one in the thigh.

Deputies have not said much about the condition of the other two victims.

Ambulances were seen leaving the area at 6:30 p.m.

Residents said they hears at least 15 gunshots, but deputies don’t know if the shooters were in a car or standing outside.

Deputies don’t know who or how many people to look for because they said the victims are not cooperating with the investigation.

Deputies said the shooting is not a random crime and that the two groups knew each other.

An unrelated shooting that happened about a block away is also being investigating.
