ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A 45-year-old man died late Monday after he was found shot multiple times at the entrance of an apartment complex in the Oak Ridge neighborhood, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said.
The injured man was found shortly before 10 p.m. lying on Harbor Chase Circle at the entrance of the Oak Arbor apartments on West Oak Ridge Road west of South John Young Parkway, Orange County Lt. Darryl Blanford said.
The man, whose identity wasn't released, died on the way to Orlando Regional Medical Center, Blanford said.

Residents said that they heard a commotion Monday night.
A woman who identified herself as P. McClendon told Channel 9 as she dropped off her daughter at the bus stop that she's concerned that a killer could be at large.
"If they find them, maybe justice will be served," she said. "If they don't, my wishes and prayers go out to the family. No one deserves to die, especially in the street and alone."

Investigators didn't specify whether the victim was shot at the apartment complex or if he was injured elsewhere.
The shooting remains under investigation.
No other details were given.
