Orange County toddler death: Deputies visited home 16 times in past year

An autopsy will be performed Monday on a toddler who deputies said died under suspicious circumstances.
No one has been charged in the Moor Lysias’s death.
The 18-month-old was found unresponsive in the home on Killington Way by his mother’s roommate early Sunday.
The roommate, who was not identified and who deputies said is cooperating with the investigation, called 911.

A medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
Moor’s mother, Tamika Young, 23, was taken in for a mental health evaluation.
Several neighbors told Channel 9 they would often see deputies at the home.
Orange County deputies responded to the home 16 times since August of last year.
Resident Feris Sulaiman lives next door to the home.
He said he called 911 a few months ago when he saw Young acting strange as she walked up and down the street.
“She’s just walking in the middle of the street and yelling, singing and she didn’t look at us,” he said. “We were afraid she may go to the main street.”
Of the 16 visits since August, three of them were for a mental health situation.
Deputies also went out several times for fights, rescues and what’s listed as general investigations.
No other information was released about the child’s death.
