Deputies: Disabled Seminole County woman reported missing found safe

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Seminole County deputies say a local disabled woman who was reported missing has been found.

Ashley Peppard, 26, had been missing since May 26 when she sent a text to her family, according to the sheriff’s office. She told them she was watching a movie with a new friend.

According to deputies, she didn’t take any identification, a debit card, or her medication with her.

Deputies say Peppard has since been located and is now safe.
