Missing Osceola County woman found safe

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — UPDATE: Detectives said Erin Bruneau has been found in good health and her family has been notified.

Osceola County detectives are searching for a missing woman who was last seen two weeks ago.

Officials said 51-year-old Erin Bruneau was last seen in the area of Ames Haven Road in Kissimmee.

She is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with blonde hair and green eyes.

According to a Facebook post by her son, Nic Calderon, Bruneau's neighbor went to check on her and found Bruneau's two dogs home alone.

Calderon said his mother would never leave her dogs alone.

Neighbor Lavada Taylor said the first sign that something might be wrong was when Bruneau put her trash outside but never took it to the street.

"She put all of her stuff out, just like she'd always do to line it up for Wednesday trash day, and it never went (out)," Taylor said.

Last week Taylor said she heard one of Bruneau's dogs barking and when she went to make sure everything was OK, she realized something was amiss.

"I was clearly, something was wrong," Taylor said. "(One of her dogs) was extremely skinny, his collar was hanging off of him."

Her sister, Tracy Hannigan, said it was out of character for Bruneau to leave without saying anything.

There were several things inside her home that indicated Bruneau was coming back, Hannigan said.

"We have found things inside that give us every impression she planned to come back, from making recent doctor appointments, to receipts for food in the house," she said.

Anyone with information Bruneau's whearabouts is asked to call the Osceola County Sheriff's Office at 407-348-2222.
