Corrections officer arrested on charges of obstruction of justice in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — An Orange County Department of Corrections officer was arrested Tuesday morning, according to DOC officials.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office arrested Officer Ericka Koger, 33, after a Department Inspector General Investigation, the DOC said.

While the details of Koger’s arrest have not been released, Channel 9 learned she was charged with obstructing justice, public servant obstruction delay felony, unlawful use of a two-way communication device and perjury when not in an official proceeding.

Koger bonded out of jail Tuesday afternoon.

She did not answer any questions from Channel 9 reporter Lauren Seabrook.

The Florida Department of Corrections said Tuesday it would release more details about Koger’s arrest.
