ORLANDO, Fla. — Duda Farms Fresh Foods delivered 70 boxes of romaine lettuce to SeaWorld Rescue on Tuesday morning to help feed rescued manatees.
The donation supports the care of approximately 30 manatees currently undergoing rehabilitation at SeaWorld Orlando.
SeaWorld officials said this donation provides critical resources for the facility’s ongoing rescue and recovery efforts.
The donation of locally grown Florida romaine lettuce coincides with the 100th anniversary of Duda Farms.
This contribution reflects the company’s history of supporting the environment and wildlife across the state.
Among the animals receiving the fresh produce is Melby, a rescued manatee who has become a favorite among guests at the facility.
