However, no “local charges” are pending against Jarvis Madison at this time from the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.

Rachael Madison, 44, was last seen leaving her a home on Rivocean Drive in Ormond Beach on Sunday to go for a jog on the beach, but she never returned.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said Madison was staying with family near Ormond-by-the-Sea after she left Indiana to distance herself from her estranged husband, Jarvis Madison, 58.

"She knew she was in trouble, but she had no way to get away from him," said Rachael’s aunt, Joyce Newsom.

A Volusia County Sheriff’s Office report released Thursday said that “Jarvis’ vehicle that was the subject of the missing persons bulletin, the silver 2011 Honda Pilot, has been located and impounded.”

According to a Volusia County Sheriff’s Office report, Jarvis Madison had threatened to kill his wife several times in the past.

The sheriff’s office said that Rachael Madison has not been located and is still missing. %
