FHP: Man arrested after not complying to troopers' demands

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — A 40-year-old man was arrested after troopers said he would not give them his driver's license or comply with other demands Thursday morning on SR-436 near I-4.

Investigators said they noticed a gun near his feet in the truck and became concerned. At some point, troopers said they had to draw their guns.

Troopers said the initial traffic stop was for a bald tire, which is considered faulty equipment and against the law.

The man's name was not released.
