The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving a fire truck and a car.
Troopers responded Friday to the crash in Umatilla on County Road 439 and County Road 42 shortly before noon.
Troopers said the driver of a Nissan, 16-year-old Ashlyn Weber of Deltona, was going west on County Road 42 when they veered off the road and into the path of the fire truck.
The driver of the fire truck tried to avoid the impact but struck the left side of the Nissan.
Weber died at the scene and a man in her car was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Three firefighters were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — Weber was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the FHP crash report.
