Fla. soldier, his hometown star in Super Bowl ad

WINTER PARK, Fla. — A soldier and his Florida hometown are the stars of an Anheuser-Busch ad that will air during the Super Bowl.

The ad shows Lt. Chuck Nadd returning to Winter Park and being surprised with a tickertape parade featuring hundreds of well-wishers, a marching band and a police motorcade.

Nadd's girlfriend nominated him for a Veterans of Foreign Wars contest to honor a soldier with a parade in his or her hometown.

She found out he won shortly before Christmas. Winter Park city officials were asked to help organize the parade on short notice.

The 24-year-old Nadd returned from a tour in Afghanistan in early January. He thought he was going to Winter Park to speak to a VFW group and had no idea a parade was planned for him.
