LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — A body was found in Lake Eustis Monday as crews searched the lake for a missing boater.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Lake County Sheriff’s Office said the body was found at 4 p.m.
FWC officers said the body matches the description of the boater.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family tonight as they move forward with their healing,” FWC said in a press release.
A married couple boating on the lake Saturday jumped off the vessel to take a swim, but the husband never resurfaced, wildlife officials said.
The boater was not identified
