Homeowner finds burglar sleeping on couch holding jewelry

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — A Lake County homeowner came home to find a burglar sleeping on the couch, said authorities.

Lady Lake police said Domonique Pinkard was found asleep and holding the homeowner's jewelry.

Pinkard told police he fell asleep on the couch while a second man, Julian Evangelist, stole a TV.

Pinkard woke up when police arrived to arrest him, officers said.

Police said Evangelist was also captured.
