KISSIMMEE, Fla. - A Kissimmee gun range is offering free firearms safety courses in honor of the Pulse terror attack victims.
Machine Gun America offered the five-hour course free Saturday and will offer it again next Saturday.
The business is also providing free firearm transfers and gun locks for the rest of the month.
Staff members said they wanted to do something to give back to the community and promote firearm education.
“But what we want to do is provide an education to where if there is something that goes wrong—whether its workplace violence or whether its terrorism or these shootings—you’ll at least have the education to where you can empower yourself,” said Scott Bryan, a Machine Gun America staff member.
Space is limited for the firearms safety course.
