Crane's friends from high school were also there to surprise her.
Crane said she and her boyfriend attended the concert Sunday, and never imagined she would be surrounded by gunfire.
"You just don't know exactly what's going on and you're freaking out and you're confused. Then when everyone starts screaming, it starts becomng real," Crane said.
Crane said everytime they heard gunfire, they would duck down and run.
Crane said she made it safety by running into a nearby hotel and that her heart was pounding, and all she wanted to do was call her mother.
I just wanted to hear her voice. Nothing felt real at that moment. I felt like I was in some sort of dream, but I just wanted to talk to her. That meant everything to me,” Crane said.
“The hardest part about this situation is that I can’t fix it. I wasn’t there. I can’t take away the pain, but I know I can be with her now,” said Crane’s mother, Monica.
Crane said she will be staying with her mother for a week, and that she is still struggling with what she saw and heard.
