Man arrested on suspicion of supplying LSD to UCF students

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion he sold LSD to a UCF student who overdosed and was taken to the hospital, UCF police said.

UCF police tweeted Thursday afternoon Christopher John Corsini was in custody after a warrant was issued for his arrest last week. Corsini has since posted bail and is out of jail.

Police said during their investigation that they arrested Patrick Munoz, 18, of Miami, and believe he and Corsini worked together.

Munoz faces charges of possession of LSD and possession of marijuana with intent to sell. He has posted bail and is out of the Orange County Jail.

Two UCF students in November admitted to taking LSD and buying the drug from "Patrick," who they said is a UCF student and lives on the UCF main campus. The students told police they had also bought the drugs from Corsini since September.

Police searched Corsini's apartment and found marijuana, LSD, cocaine, MDMA, Alprazolam and paraphernalia, investigators said.

An attorney for Corsini emailed UCF police and said Corsini had a very supportive family who was already seeking treatment for Corsini for mental health issues, police said. The attorney wanted to know if an arrest warrant had been issued for Corsini or if he had been charged with any crime.

"Drug dealers invite crime onto campus," James Magan with UCF police said. "You are setting yourself up for a robbery, a home invasion or worse."

During a separate police investigation in December, police said they learned Patrick was also selling marijuana to students on campus via Snapchat.

Munoz was arrested Dec. 7 during a traffic stop and he later admitted to investigators that he was the "biggest drug dealer at UCF" and had sold thousands of dollars' worth of drugs on campus, police said.

Munoz told investigators that he stored marijuana and LSD at a friend's house and took them to the home where they found the drugs, police said.

Munoz said he wanted to change his life and wanted to stop selling drugs, which was why he cooperated with the investigation, police said.
