DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — A man threatened a Marshall's store clerk who tried to stop him from stuffing shoes down his pants, Daytona Beach police said Thursday.
The man used a sharp tool to cut through the security tags on the shoes, and then tried to hide them in his pants, police said.
An employee caught him, and the man threatened to use the tool on the employee, before escaping in a getaway car.
The employee was not injured.
