ORLANDO, Fla. — A 37-year-old man was wounded and a dog was killed early Saturday in a shooting at an Orlando apartment complex, the Orlando Police Department said.
The shooting happened shortly before 3:15 a.m. at the Catalina Isle apartments near LB McLeod Road and South John Young Parkway, Orlando police Lt. David Arenas said.
Someone entered an apartment and shot the dog before shooting the man, who wasn’t publicly identified, Arenas said.
“The victim is in stable condition and (is) being released from the hospital,” Arenas said. “The dog subsequently died.”
No other information was released.
