New Beachline exit ramp to Innovation Way to open in Orange County

A new exit ramp ramp from westbound State Road 528 to Innovation Way will open Tuesday in east Orange County after the morning rush hour, the Central Florida Expressway Authority said.

The toll ramp will replace the International Corporate Park Boulevard toll ramp, which will close Tuesday.

Drivers who use the new ramp may turn left to drive over a new overpass bridge to Sunbridge Parkway, which leads to Aerospace Parkway and International Corporate Park Boulevard.

Turning right will bring drivers to Innovation Way, which leads to Alafaya Trail.

The new ramp is part of a $62.5 million interchange overhaul, which has been under construction for two years.

The interchange is being built higher to accommodate future Brightline trains.

The project is expected to be completed by early next year.
