Obama coming to central Florida this weekend

CENTRAL FLORIDA — President Barack Obama is coming to central Florida over the weekend.

He's scheduled to land in the Tampa area just before 11 p.m. Friday.

WFTV was there Friday morning as people waited in the heat, trying to shade themselves with umbrellas outside a campaign office in Melbourne, trying to get free tickets for the presidential event on Sunday.

The event is free, but people do need a ticket to get in.

On Saturday, the president will speak at 4:10 p.m. at Kissimmee Civic Center.

Tickets for that event are all gone.

And then at 11:10, Sunday morning, he'll be at the Charles and Ruth Clemente Center at the Florida Institute of Technology, in Melbourne.

WFTV will be streaming both speeches live on WFTV.com
