ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — There are have been at least a half dozen carjackings in Orange County, in the Pine Hills neighborhood, deputies said.
According to reports filed by deputies, it appears none of the victims knew their attackers.
A woman at the SunTrust Bank was approached June 6 as she was pulling away from the ATM. They did not steal her car, but did demand cash, deputies said.
Also in June, another victim said she was getting into her car at the Bank of America when one of three suspects demanded she turn over her keys, deputies said.
A 26-year-old man told deputies on July 7, he was at a stoplight on West Colonial Drive and Pine Hills Road when someone opened the door, pointed a gun at him and took his car.
Deputies would not confirm if the carjackings are connected.
