Orange County school bus with students on board involved in crash

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orlando police are investigating a crash involving a school bus from the Orange County School District, police said.

The crash with another vehicel happened Tuesday afternoon shortly after 3 p.m. at Dixie Belle Drive and East Grant Street.

At least six students from Boone High School were on board during the accident, school officials said. The students were not injured. They were moved to another bus to be taken home, Orlando Fire said.

Orlando police said a driver in a Toyota vehicle caused the crash when the driver hit the school bus. The driver in the Toyota will be cited for failure to yield, police said.
